A NEW STUDIO LOCATION!

Sculptor Keith Allen Johnson is happy to announce the opening of his new studio location in Flowery Branch Georgia just 42 miles north east of Atlanta! The long anticipated move allows the sculptor to be closer to family and also to a growing number of patrons and commissions in the south. Johnson’s recent commissions with the John F. Kennedy Medical Center in West Palm Beach Florida were instrumental in the sculptor’s creation of the Henry M. Flagler Collection. These project and other private commissions in the south have given the sculptor every indication that now was the perfect time to make the move.

Johnson now looks to draw new inspiration from the Atlanta area. He has recently begun his exploration in the north for future works close to his new home and studio. The sculptor is planning future sculptural works of musician, poet and scholar Sidney Lanier. Lake Lanier, named in his honor, is operated by the U.S. Corps of Engineers and is located north east of Atlanta. Other projects include General Edmund Pendleton Gaines, a hero of the war of 1812. The town of Gainesville Georgia was named for this tough military man who made his mark on the American frontier. He was highly admired by his troops and it was on their recommendation that he was honored by having a town named for him. Johnson is excited about his move to the south. The Atlanta area offers ample opportunity for a life time of future inspiration!

Johnson’s love and passion is portrait sculpture. He is known as a master at capturing the likeness and the spirit of his subject in heroic proportion. Johnson is currently accepting a limited number of commissions for 2008 and 2009. We look forward to working with you in creating a true master piece! For more information go to: Commission.
